Hagfors kyrka, in the Värmland mill town of Hagfors, was built in 1902-04 to designs by the architect Fritz Eckert. Its history is closely tied to the local iron industry, and the building has undergone two very different twentieth-century restorations.
On a hillside some 15 kilometres south of Härnösand stands Häggdångers kyrka, a rural parish church consecrated in 1785 that preserves treasures from far older buildings on the same site.
