Högsjö kyrka: Built by Simon Geting to designs by Per Hagmansson, Högsjö’s newer church was consecrated in 1789. Its neoclassical interior took shape during the following century.

The expansion of local industry in Utansjö had made the old medieval church too small. The new building was constructed from local gneiss and brick. It was still unfinished at its consecration on 2 November 1789; the interior reached its later form in the mid-19th century with a new altarpiece and pulpit by Olof Hofrén.
