Brännemo kyrka is a small parish church in a wooded area of what is now Skövde municipality, built through local voluntary effort in the early twentieth century. Standing about 7 km from the mother church at Götlunda, it remains a modest but characterful place of worship.

The church was built between 1919 and 1923 on the initiative of the parish priest, Ernst Wennerblad, who also drew up the designs himself. Construction began in May 1919, and the first service was held that same year, though the building was not formally consecrated by Bishop Hjalmar Danell until All Saints' Day 1923. The church is constructed of brick, originally left exposed, with a saddle roof and tower covered in black sheet metal.

In 1938 the brick exterior was rendered and painted white under the direction of architect Adolf Niklasson, giving the church much of its present appearance. At the same time the chancel window was closed up and the original altarpiece, now kept in the parish hall, was replaced by a plain cross set before a niche.

A decade later, in 1948, the chancel walls were decorated with figurative paintings by Simon Sörman, depicting the journey through the light of the cross, flanked by scenes of a young family on one side and a careworn figure finding strength through faith on the other. The octagonal wooden font dates from the same year, built to designs by Niklasson. In the baptistry, a stained-glass window by Harry Alm from 1967 depicts the evangelists.

The church has two bells, cast in 1920 and 1931, and a small pneumatic organ built in 1938 by Nordfors & Co, with a case designed by Niklasson.
