Gällaryds kyrka is a parish church in Gällaryd, in Värnamo municipality, part of Gällaryds församling in the Diocese of Växjö. It stands on Centrumvägen, replacing an earlier medieval timber church that had become too small for the growing congregation.

The present stone church was built between 1782 and 1786, replacing a medieval wooden predecessor that could no longer accommodate the parish's growing population during the 18th century. The design is credited to Georg Silfversparre, owner of the nearby Ohs bruk ironworks, whose proposal was later refined by Thure Wennberg of the Överintendentsämbetet, the royal office responsible for public buildings. Construction was overseen by master mason Hans Lundström of Laholm, and the finished building was rendered smooth and limewashed white, with a shingled roof.

For the first three years after the church's consecration, its bells remained in the old church's freestanding bell tower, since no tower had yet been built for the new structure. A tower with a helm-shaped spire and a small four-sided lantern, topped with a cross-orb finial, was added in 1789, giving the building its distinctive Gustavian character.

The church follows a hall-church plan, with a rectangular nave and a semicircular chancel to the east; a sacristy was built onto the north side, close to the chancel, and the tower rises at the west end. The interior features a wooden barrel vault. A renovation in 1908 added cornice mouldings to the ceiling and introduced draped-curtain painting around the chancel's central window, along with an altar ornament of a cross on a broad plinth. This scheme proved short-lived: in 1944 the central window was blocked and the decorative painting covered over, replaced by an altar arrangement of pilasters framing a new altarpiece depicting the Ascension, painted by Erik Abrahamson.

Among the church's furnishings is a pulpit with a sounding board, made in 1792 by Sven Nilsson Morin and donated by the Silfversparre family — a direct link to the family associated with the church's original design. A carved oak Madonna figure by Margareta Engström dates from 1980, and the pews retain their enclosed box-pew arrangement. The organ loft has a curved, outward-swept central section.

The church has had several organs over its history: an instrument by August Rosenborg of Örberga in 1850, followed by a larger organ with a neo-Gothic case built by E. Wirell of Växjö in 1908, and a mechanical organ installed in 1960 by A. Mårtenssons Orgelfabrik of Lund, which remains in use today.
