Ytterselö kyrka is a medieval parish church on the island of Selaön in Södermanland, serving Stallarholmen parish within the Diocese of Strängnäs. Set within an old walled churchyard, it preserves work from the 12th to 18th centuries and an unusually rich collection of furnishings.

The church likely originated in the 12th century as a simple nave with a west tower, though its earliest chancel has not survived. It was extended eastward, possibly in the 14th century, and a sacristy and porch were later added. By around 1500 the building had acquired its star-vaulted brick ceilings, and in 1650 a burial chapel for the Soop family of nearby Mälsåker was built onto the south side. The present high chancel dates from 1728, giving the church its distinctive copper-clad dome with a small lantern, quite different from the whitewashed, shingle-roofed nave and tower.

The churchyard retains its old boundary wall and, on the west side, a gate structure that may be medieval. Among the graves is an unusual stone monument raised on four limestone pillars, sheltering a richly carved slab said to depict a resting couple, identified by inscription as Hans Åkesson (Soop) and his wife Elin Eriksdotter Kagg, who died in the early 17th century.

Inside, the whitewashed nave has star vaults from around 1475, and the pulpit and a restored triumphal cross stand among the furnishings. A faint wall painting on the north side may be an epitaph attributed to the 16th-century painter Anders Jordansson Ryttare, known for similar work elsewhere in Sweden. Beneath the 1728 chancel lies a burial vault for the owners of Mälsåker, including Anna Maria Soop and her two husbands; its principal monument is a striking sarcophagus of brown limestone and pale sandstone, its lid inscribed for Anna Gyllenstierna, though the matching inscription for her husband was apparently never carved.
