Ansgarskyrkan, together with Sävedalens kyrka, forms Sävedalens församling, one of three parishes in Partille pastorat.

Ansgarskyrkan, together with Sävedalens kyrka, forms Sävedalens församling. The church was inaugurated in 1984. It is a small wooden church with a nave and assembly halls arranged around a central church square. It contains a triumphal crucifix by Eva Spångberg and an icon, "Jesus och barnen" (Jesus and the children), by Erland Forsberg.
