Lannaskede-Myresjö kyrka stands on the boundary between two former parishes, roughly midway between the small communities of Landsbro and Myresjö in Jönköping County. Built to replace two ageing, undersized parish churches, it has served both congregations since the nineteenth century.

The church was raised as a shared building for the parishes of Lannaskede and Myresjö, positioned deliberately on the old parish boundary so that the altar falls within Myresjö and the porch within Lannaskede. Stone for the construction was brought from Hjälmåkra and Broby Östergård, with sand taken locally from Myresjö. The building was ready for use in 1879 and formally consecrated the following year, under builder Peter Johan Petersson from Göteryd.

The church is constructed of stone, with a tower and a narrower three-sided chancel. The single-aisled nave is lit by large round-arched windows, and the pulpit stands on the gospel side. The building was remodelled in 1964, which gave it much of its present appearance, including a striking altar mosaic depicting the Trinity by the artist Arvid Wallinder of Nässjö, acquired that year.

Several older furnishings were carried over from the two original parish churches. A wooden chest dating from the fifteenth century survives as a link to the medieval past, alongside an altarpiece painted by Ludvig Frid. In the tower hang three bells: the middle bell dates from the 1400s and once served as the great bell of the old Lannaskede church, while the largest and smallest bells, recast in the eighteenth century, previously hung in the old Myresjö church.

The organ, built in 1878 by the Stockholm firm Åkerman & Lund, was later reworked by Olof Hammarberg of Gothenburg in 1964, and remains a modest but notable feature of the interior.
