Acklinga kyrka is a late 18th-century parish church in the north-western part of Tidaholm Municipality, Västra Götaland. Built to replace a medieval predecessor, it now forms part of Varv parish within the Diocese of Skara.

The present church was built between 1777 and 1779, reputedly to a design attributed to the architect Carl Fredric Adelcrantz, replacing an earlier medieval church that had burned down in 1679. Parish records reportedly explained the decision by describing the old building as too small and dark, and note that it was to be demolished in the spring of 1777. Baron Ulric von Essen of nearby Kavlås contributed funds towards the new building, and parishioners from neighbouring communities are said to have helped with construction. The tower was a slightly later addition, completed around 1791–92.

The church has whitewashed exterior walls and a simple plan of nave and west tower. Its interior was substantially altered during a restoration in 1906, when several older fittings were rearranged or supplemented. The altarpiece, depicting the Ascension, was painted by a former parish cantor, Anders (or A.) Wetterlind, and now hangs on the south wall of the nave; a copy of Thorvaldsen's well-known figure of Christ was acquired for the chancel at the same time.

Several older objects survive from the earlier medieval church. A carved figure of Christ with the apostles, positioned above the pulpit, is thought to originate from that building, as does a holy water vessel kept in the porch. Fragments of what is believed to be a medieval stone font have also been found during grave openings in the churchyard; too damaged for reconstruction, they are now kept in the south porch. On the north wall of the nave hangs a memorial tablet to the vicar Bazius, who died in 1677. A baptismal candle holder near the font was made and donated by a local parishioner, Anders Johansson of Mobacken. A modest five-stop organ was built in 1906 by Levin Johansson of Liared.

The tower holds two bells. Sources agree the older, larger bell was cast in 1781, but give differing accounts of the smaller bell: one source dates it to 1916 at 180 kg, while another attributes it to the Bergholtz foundry in Sigtuna in 1918, without stating its weight.
