Brösarps kyrka is a medieval parish church in Brösarp, part of Brösarp-Tranås församling in the Diocese of Lund. Its origins trace back to the 1100s, though centuries of rebuilding mean little of that early character is visible from outside.

The church was originally built in Romanesque style in the twelfth century. Although the exterior gives few clues to this age, medieval traces survive within, including wall paintings dating from the thirteenth century that were later covered over and only rediscovered much later.

The building has been altered repeatedly. A northern transept was added in the late eighteenth century, and around 1860 a southern transept followed, along with a rebuilt tower, changes carried out to designs associated with the architect A. R. Pettersson. These additions largely obscured the church's Romanesque character on the outside. At the same time, fifteenth-century vaulting was removed and replaced with a higher roof, which exposed the earlier medieval paintings on the triumphal arch wall and in the apse vaults, showing Christ as judge surrounded by the evangelists and apostles.

Further restoration followed in the twentieth century. Various proposals for interior work were drawn up from the 1910s onwards but not carried out, until a scheme by the architect Eiler Græbe was implemented in the early 1930s. A more thorough restoration in the early 1970s, led by architect Torsten Leon-Nilsson, uncovered further hidden medieval paintings in the apse vault and involved blocking an old apse doorway, replacing it with a small window. To improve the visibility of these paintings, an eighteenth-century altarpiece in Baroque style was moved to the north transept; its panels depict Gethsemane, the Last Supper, the Crucifixion and the Resurrection.

Among the church's furnishings is a granite font dating from the early medieval period, with a brass basin of around 1600 decorated with a scene of the Annunciation. The pulpit, also from around 1600, retains the narrow form typical of earlier sixteenth-century pulpits, with panels once carved with floral ornament, later overpainted with images of the evangelists.

One notable object is a communion chalice with an eventful history: donated to the church in the late sixteenth century, it was reportedly seized by Swedish troops in 1644, held for a time at Varberg fortress, then moved on royal order to a fortress in Västergötland (today known as Karlsborg), where it remained in use in a garrison church until being returned to Brösarp in 1977. The church's organ, built in 1961 by A. Mårtenssons Orgelfabrik in Lund, incorporates the façade of an earlier 1870 instrument by Sven Fogelberg.

In the churchyard lies Hanna Johansdotter, whose murder in the nineteenth century became known as the Yngsjö murder, a notorious case in which her husband and mother-in-law were convicted; her mother-in-law, Anna Månsdotter, is recorded as the last woman to be executed in Sweden.
