Svennevads kyrka, built between 1782 and 1786, stands beside road 51 in the village of Svennevad in Örebro county. It is regarded as one of Sweden's most complete and elegant Gustavian-era church interiors, reflecting the strong influence of local ironworks patrons on its design.

The present building replaced a medieval church on the same site. Construction was overseen by the builder Gustaf Philip Wennerstedt, and the result is a stone-built church with a nave, a rounded chancel to the east, an attached sacristy to the north, and a tower recessed into the west end of the nave rather than projecting from it.

The church's black-and-gold fittings give the interior a distinctive, almost solemn character, and it has been described as feeling like a memorial temple to the departed rather than a conventional parish church. The altarpiece, painted in 1793 by Pehr Hörberg, is among the notable furnishings from this period.

The church has had several organs over the years. An instrument by Pehr Schiörlin of Linköping was installed in 1786, followed in 1892 by an interim organ originally built for Uppsala Cathedral. The current organ dates from 1955, built by Åkerman & Lund of Knivsta, though it retains the façade of the original 1786 instrument.

The church underwent a full renovation in 2012–2013, which has helped preserve the homogeneous Gustavian character for which the building is valued.
