Igelösa kyrka is a small parish church near Lund, in Skåne, belonging to Torns församling. Though modest in size, it holds an unusually rich history, from medieval origins to a remarkable buried treasure discovered in the churchyard.

The church is thought to date from the 1100s, when it was built in Romanesque style with an apse. According to local tradition it was constructed using surplus material from the building of Lund Cathedral, though this is unverified. In the 1400s the building was vaulted and a tower added; a 19th-century drawing shows the tower once had an internal staircase within its south wall, likely removed during renovations in 1859 under Lund cathedral architect Carl Georg Brunius, who gave the church much of its present exterior appearance. Traces of older wall paintings on the triumphal arch and east wall of the chancel remain partly visible from the attic space.

Above the main entrance is a cast-iron plaque from 1859 bearing two coats of arms, associated with the Gyllenkrok family and probably the Fock family, recalling the church's historic link as patronage church to the nearby Svenstorp estate. In the 1600s burial chapels were added to the south side. The lower vault, known as the "Danish grave", held coffins that were removed in the early 1900s; above it lies the Gyllenkrook chapel, containing two marble sarcophagi holding the remains of county governor Baron Axel Gyllenkrook and his wife (named as Maria in one source), along with commemorative plates and an 18th-century funeral hatchment.

The church served for a long period as a burial church for the owners of Svenstorp Castle. The Danish noblewoman Beate Hvitfeldt, widow of Knud Ulfeldt of Svenstorp, is said to have had the Renaissance castle built in the late 1500s and probably the burial chapel itself. Sculptures depicting the couple can be seen in the chapel, and their gravestone, rediscovered during electrical works in the early 1960s, lies beneath the chancel floor in front of the altar rail; a glass floor panel was reportedly installed above it in December 2024 to protect and display it.

The font is considered as old as the church itself and is unusually square in shape, unlike the round fonts typical of medieval Skåne. The altarpiece and pulpit both date from 1732, the altarpiece incorporating two paintings, one attributed to Johan Johansson Ross the elder. The current organ was built in 1955 by the Copenhagen organ builder Wilhelm Hemmersam, replacing an 1860 instrument.

Perhaps the church's most famous association is with the Igelösa hoard, a large silver treasure of some 2,000 coins, mostly of Anglo-Saxon origin and around 900 years old, found wrapped in the remains of a wooden box during a burial in 1924. The discovery briefly brought national attention to the small parish.
