Kapellet vid Gröen: Gröenkapellet is a place for gatherings. The chapel is situated in a scenic location by the lake Gröen in Landvetter, with a beautiful view over water, sky and nature.

The chapel is a non-denominational facility funded by the burial fee, which is paid by everyone registered as resident within Landvetter and Härryda parishes. The chapel was taken into use on 1 July 2004 and was designed by the architect Björn Dahrén. In addition to funeral ceremonies, the chapel is used for weddings and concerts.

Besides the main hall itself, the building also houses a repose room, a room where the deceased are kept while awaiting burial or cremation.

Gröenkapellet has a boat-inspired form with materials such as wood panelling, stained colours and a zinc roof. Looking closely, one can see that the nearly seven-metre-high window frame symbolises the tree of life. This is intended to lift one's thoughts and let them wander out into the beautiful view. This pattern then recurs on the piano covering and the pall. The table is made of elm that grew in Landvetter churchyard, and the floor consists of hand-made brick.
