Västra Tommarps kyrka is a church near Trelleborg in Skåne, dating from around 1200. Built of coarse flint, it retains older furnishings and monuments, along with an old churchyard containing gravestones from the 16th and 18th centuries.

The church was constructed around the year 1200 using rough-hewn flintstone, a common building material in this part of Skåne. It belongs to Hammarlöv parish within the Diocese of Lund.

In the 17th century the gables of the chancel and nave were remodelled, taking on a baroque-influenced appearance, and in the 19th century the tower received the roof shape it still has today. These successive alterations mean the building reflects several different periods of Swedish church architecture rather than a single style.

Among the surviving furnishings is a sandstone font with a pewter christening dish made sometime in the 17th century, and a communion chalice from the same period. The pulpit dates from 1649. A memorial tablet from 1778 bears the tetragrammaton, the four Hebrew letters traditionally used to represent the name of God, a detail worth looking for by visitors interested in ecclesiastical symbolism.

The church has had more than one organ. An earlier instrument with seven stops was built in 1834 by Anders Larsson of Malmö. It was replaced in 1890 by the current mechanical organ, built by Salomon Molander & Co of Gothenburg, which still has its original fixed combination mechanism.

The old churchyard surrounding the church contains gravestones dating from the 16th and 18th centuries, offering a tangible link to the generations who have worshipped here across the centuries.
