Höja kyrka is a nineteenth-century parish church near Ängelholm in Skåne, built in Neo-Gothic style and consecrated in 1882. Its light, airy interior and notable altarpiece make it a worthwhile stop for visitors exploring the churches of this part of southern Sweden.

Construction of Höja kyrka began in 1880, and the building was consecrated on 1 October 1882, the feast day of St Michael. It was designed by the architect A. J. Hallberg in Neo-Gothic style, with a rectangular nave, a three-sided chancel to the east and a tower to the west. Inside, tall, slender pillars and large windows create a bright, three-aisled space typical of the style.

The church's most treasured object is its altarpiece, an oil painting on canvas depicting the Deposition from the Cross, signed by H. J. Lilljedal (recorded elsewhere as Liljedahl) in 1792. The painting underwent a substantial restoration in 1967 and remains the focal point of the chancel.

Among the older furnishings is a sandstone font dating from the first half of the thirteenth century, considerably older than the current building, together with a brass christening basin from the 1600s — reminders that a place of worship stood at Höja long before the present church was built.

The church has an organ history stretching back to 1758, when Christian Fredrik Hardt of Malmö built an instrument with eight stops. The organ in use today dates from 1888, built by Salomon Molander & Co of Gothenburg, and was later modified and enlarged in the twentieth century.

In 2002 the church underwent extensive renovation. The organ loft was extended to create space for a meeting room and toilet, underfloor heating was installed in the porch, the chancel windows were fitted with cathedral glass, and the building was re-limewashed both inside and out.
