Hovshaga kapell is a modern chapel serving Hovshaga cemetery on the outskirts of Växjö. Built when the burial ground was laid out in the early 1980s, it is one of three chapels belonging to Växjö stads- och domkyrkoförsamling and continues to serve funeral services today.

The chapel was designed by the architect Greger Dahlström of Lund and was consecrated on 27 August 1983 by Bishop Sven Lindegård, coinciding with the establishment of Hovshaga cemetery that same year.

It stands on the highest point of the cemetery grounds and, following long-standing church tradition, is orientated on an east-west axis. Its architecture is straightforwardly modern, reflecting the functional chapel design common to Swedish cemeteries of the period rather than any older ecclesiastical style.

The chapel houses a mechanical organ built in 1983 by J. Künkels Orgelverkstad AB of Lund, installed as part of the original construction.

Hovshaga kapell is used exclusively for funeral services, and has no wider parish or congregational role beyond this function.
