The present church building was consecrated in September 1994, making it one of the more recent additions to the region's ecclesiastical architecture. As a purpose-built modern church, it reflects the design sensibilities of its era rather than any medieval or older heritage.
Among the church's furnishings is an altarpiece created in stained wood by the artist Ulla Nerman. The piece forms a focal point within the interior and represents a notable example of contemporary Swedish ecclesiastical art.
A distinctive decorative feature is a wrought-iron light-bearer by the metalworker Christer Wide, shaped in the form of a maple tree. This object stands out as an unusual and characterful piece within the church's collection of fittings.
The church also holds a font that was turned (shaped on a lathe) by Rune Larsson, adding another example of craftsmanship from a named individual artisan to the building's modest but personal set of furnishings.
