Långsele kyrka is the parish church of Långsele, standing on a hill above the Faxälven river in Härnösand diocese. Built in the early nineteenth century, it replaced an older stone church and remains a distinctive example of neoclassical rural church architecture in Västernorrland.

The present church was constructed between 1815 and 1828 from grey stone with a rendered façade, in a neoclassical style. It replaced an earlier stone church dating from the sixteenth century. The original design was drawn up in 1812 by master builder Simon Geting, later revised by the architect Per Wilhelm Palmroth, with construction overseen by Simon's son, Lars David Geting.

One unusual architectural feature is the position of the church tower: rather than standing over the porch at the western end, as is customary, it rises above the chancel and altar at the eastern end of the building. The roof, originally covered in wooden shingles, was replaced with copper sheeting in 1956.

Inside, the pulpit and altarpiece, including a gilded cross and cloth, were made by Olof Hofrén in 1856. The church organ dates from 1849 and has been rebuilt several times since. Among the church's textiles is a chasuble in reddish-violet velvet with gold-thread embroidery, made in an Art Nouveau style in the early twentieth century. The church's oldest chasuble, dating from the fifteenth century, is no longer kept in the church itself but is held at the Västernorrland County Museum.
