Överlännäs kyrka is a parish church in Överlännäs, in the Härnösand diocese, standing beside road 335 roughly 20 km east of Sollefteå. Its medieval origins, star-vaulted ceiling and later refashioning give visitors a modest but genuinely old building to explore.

The church's exact age is uncertain: old parish records were lost when the rectory burned down in 1835, but tradition places its construction sometime in the 13th or 14th century. The building is a simple rectangular structure, about 19 by 11 metres, with a steep shingle-clad saddle roof. During the later 15th century the interior ceiling was given star vaults, a decorative feature that remains one of the church's most distinctive elements.

In the 18th century the church appears to have been enlarged, with the northern and western walls moved outward by around two metres to increase its size. The pulpit and altarpiece date from the late 18th century and are thought to be the work of Johan Edler the Elder, a noted craftsman of church furnishings in the region.

Inside, the church holds two altar paintings: an upper panel attributed to the 17th-century French painter le Sueur, and a lower one by G. Ekblom. The font, carved from Gotland sandstone, was donated by local Girl Scouts and residents of the Lökom area, a detail that adds a community dimension to the church's furnishings.

Outside the churchyard wall stands a freestanding bell tower, believed to date from the late 18th or early 19th century. It was rebuilt during a restoration in 1891, when a larger bell was installed; a smaller bell had already been given to the church back in 1770.
