Welcome to walk a short pilgrimage route outside the church, where you can choose between seven different trails ranging from 200 m to 1.3 km in length. The walks include thought-provoking words. There are also children's reflections. The start and finish for all the trails is at the fireplace on the green area in front of the church.
The fireplace is free to use; please leave it in good condition for the next visitor.
For the children:
During the summer there are several activities for children, both inside and around Hortlax kyrka. Outside the church there are various play activities, and you can also look for the church mice that have hidden themselves among the church cottages. A map and information about the church mice can be found in a postbox by the noticeboard outside the church. Open around the clock throughout the summer.
Inside the church, during opening hours, you can visit the teddy bears and hear them talk about various subjects. A map and information about the teddy bears can be found at the back of the church.
