Kyrkefalla kyrka stands on a ridge just south of the centre of Tibro, in Skara diocese. This modest yet historically layered church replaced a medieval predecessor and offers visitors a striking mix of styles alongside some genuinely old treasures.

The present church was built in 1837–38 and consecrated in 1839, after fire destroyed its medieval predecessor. Stone from the ruined older building was reused in the new walls, creating a direct physical link to the site's earlier history. The architecture combines neoclassical proportions with later Gothic Revival touches, most notably the tower and spire added in 1886.

A major renovation in 1927, led by Karl Martin Westerberg, transformed what had been a plain interior into a richer one. Baroque furnishings originally belonging to the older church were reinstated at this time, and the ceiling was fitted with panelled coffering, giving the interior more decorative depth than its exterior might suggest.

Several older objects survive within the newer building. The altarpiece, made by Karl Elmberg in 1927, incorporates carved figures salvaged from a 17th-century altar. Above the altar hangs a stone crucifix dated to the 14th century, and the pulpit dates largely from the 1600s, with additions made in 1746.

One of the church's most curious survivals is its smaller bell, thought to date from the 13th century and comparable to a bell at Saleby church. It carries a runic inscription naming those involved in its casting — a rare tangible link to the medieval craftsmen who worked in the parish long before the present building existed.

The church contains two organs of note: a west gallery organ with a sounding façade built in 1839 by Johan Nikolaus Söderling, later altered and expanded in the twentieth century, and a smaller 1992 organ in the chancel in a restrained neoclassical style. Today the church is particularly used for baptisms, weddings and musical services, though regular Sunday worship is no longer held here, and funerals are usually conducted elsewhere in the parish.
