Västerstads kyrka is a red-brick church near Hörby in Skåne, built in the late 1870s to replace a medieval church that had grown too small for the parish. Its confident Gothic Revival design marked a sharp break from the older churches of the surrounding countryside.

By the end of the eighteenth century, the original church at Västerstad, thought to date from the 1100s or 1200s, could no longer accommodate its growing congregation. A decision was taken to build a new church nearby, and the medieval building was allowed to fall into disrepair once its replacement was ready. That earlier church now survives only as a ruin beside Västerstad manor house, within the old churchyard, and has occasionally been used for open-air services; it underwent restoration work in the twentieth century.

The present church was built half a kilometre to the west in 1877–78. Sources differ slightly on the architect's name, recording him as either Salomon Sörensen or Peter Christian Sörensen. Built of red brick in the Gothic Revival style, the church departed markedly from the medieval churches typical of the area, and its striking design reportedly attracted considerable local comment at the time.

The building follows a cross-shaped plan, with a nave and narrower chancel to the east, a tower to the west, and transepts extending from the nave's north and south sides.

Several furnishings were carried over from the old church, most notably a carved sandstone font and a set of parish silver dating from the 1600s. Many of the church's other fittings, including chandeliers, vestments, a bridal crown, a christening bowl, vases and a chancel carpet, were gifts from parishioners when the new building opened.

The church has had a succession of organs. An instrument was built in 1902 by Johannes Magnusson of Gothenburg; a later organ from 1963 was sold on to another parish in the 1970s. The current mechanical organ dates from 1971, though it retains the façade of the earlier 1902 instrument.
