The chapel was constructed in 1961 following plans by the architect Gunnar Angrén. It forms a single timber-framed building complex made up of two connected sections: an assembly hall with a shallow gabled roof, and the church itself, which has a steeper gabled roof topped with a small ridge turret.
The exterior walls are clad in grey-painted timber panelling, with a metal-sheet roof covering. Inside, the church room continues the restrained palette, with walls lined in grey-painted timber panelling and a ceiling finished in pale, lightly varnished panelling. The wooden floor is fitted with simple white-painted timber pews.
A freestanding bell tower with a pointed spire stands close to the chapel, a common feature of Swedish rural churches of this type and period.
