Kungsängens kyrka is a medieval parish church in Kungsängen, Upplands-Bro municipality, part of Kungsängen-Västra Ryds parish in the Diocese of Uppsala. Built of grey stone and brick, it has grown in stages since the early 1200s, retaining features from several centuries.

The oldest parts of the church date from the early 1200s, when a Romanesque church with a narrower chancel was built; the two western bays of today's nave survive from this period. Around 1300 the original chancel was demolished and the building extended eastward into a hall church with a straight-ended chancel as wide as the nave. The sacristy was added roughly a century later, and the porch followed in the late 1400s, when the nave and chancel were also given vaulted ceilings and decorated with wall paintings. Fragments of this medieval decoration were rediscovered beneath layers of plaster during a 1994 restoration but were subsequently covered again.

The church's appearance changed considerably over the centuries. An extensive 1776 restoration altered the window openings and moved the pulpit from the south to its present position on the north wall. A heavy-handed 1881–1882 remodelling added stepped gables, a small tower and red brick dressings, but much of this later work was removed during a 1920–1922 restoration under Professor Martin Olsson, which returned the church closer to its historic appearance and addressed serious structural cracks in the eastern end.

Inside, the fixed stone altar incorporates a medieval vaulted chamber beneath it, once used to store communion wine; the entrance survives but is not used for safety reasons. A sandstone panel added to the altar front in 1796 carries a carved biblical inscription from the Book of Job. Two font basins survive: an earlier one from the early 1200s with a limestone bowl on a roughly hewn sandstone base, and a later 'paradise font' of Gotland limestone from the late 1200s.

The pulpit, carved in 1635 by Michael Reckner, master joiner to Strängnäs Cathedral, is decorated with figures of the apostles and evangelists and bears the arms of the Körning family, who donated it. A crucifix of lime wood on an oak cross hanging in the chancel arch is thought to combine a corpus from around 1500 with a cross dating to the early 1200s; sources differ slightly on the exact dating of the figure. The church also contains funerary monuments to the Körning family, including an armorial panel and a memorial to Colonel Anders Körning, who died in 1639.

The organ has an interesting history: the visible façade and speaking pipes date from an 1832 instrument by Per Zacharias Strand, retained through subsequent rebuilds, most recently a new organ built within that historic case by Ålems Orgelverkstad, completed and inaugurated in 2019 after several years' work. A freestanding wooden bell tower, believed to date from around 1640 and later reclad and relocated to its present position in the 1950s, stands a short distance from the church.
