Ullene kyrka is a 19th-century parish church in Floby pastorat, Västra Götaland, built to replace a medieval church that had become too dilapidated to repair. Its predecessor's ruins still lie a short distance away, giving visitors a sense of the site's long history.

The decision to replace the old medieval church at Ullene was not taken lightly. Discussions about building anew began as early as 1837, but the small parish struggled to find the funds even for basic repairs to the ageing building. In 1839 a mason named Dahlberg was called in to inspect the old church and concluded that it was in too poor a state to be saved by repairs alone, however extensive.

With local resources insufficient, the parish appealed for collections from across the country and sought grants to fund the new building. Plans were finally approved in 1842, and master builder Bergström took charge of construction. The new church, built in the Empire style, was completed in 1847, the same year the old medieval church was demolished. Its cross and orb were gilded that year, and the interior was painted two years later, in 1849.

The remains of the medieval church, built in Romanesque style with a rectangular chancel, still stand around a hundred metres from the present building. Archaeological excavation and conservation of the ruin in 1967 uncovered a substantial hoard of old coins, including around 150 medieval examples—among the earliest being Swedish and Norwegian coins from the late twelfth century, alongside Danish medieval coins.

Among the church's furnishings, the oldest surviving object is a fifteenth-century chasuble embroidered with a row of female saints, worked in a technique suggesting Eastern European origin. The church has two bells: the larger was recast in 1891 by Johan A. Beckman & Co. of Stockholm, while the smaller dates its recasting to 1737, made in Skövde by the licensed bell-founder Andreas Wetterholtz of Malmö.

The church went without an organ for almost thirty years after completion, until one was purchased in 1875 from the organ builder S. Molander of Gothenburg. An interior renovation was carried out in the 1980s.
