Falkenbergs kyrka is the parish church of Falkenberg, a neo-Gothic building of granite with concrete decorative details. It replaced an older medieval church in the late nineteenth century and remains a landmark in the town centre, notable for its cross-shaped plan and rose windows.

The church was inaugurated on 14 October 1892, designed by architect Adrian C. Peterson, and took over as the parish church from the older Sankt Laurentii kyrka. It is built as a cross-church, with a nave, a five-sided chancel to the east, and a tower to the west. Transepts extend to the north and south, each pierced by a large rose window. A sacristy was added at the north-eastern corner in 1955, but otherwise the exterior has remained much as it was when built.

Inside, there are two side galleries and an organ gallery. The interior looks quite different today from its original appearance, largely due to a restoration in 1958, when the decoration was repainted in a lighter colour scheme and the chancel's stained-glass rose windows were replaced with tinted antique glass set in teak frames. A further renovation of the interior took place in the 2000s.

One of the more unusual stories connected with the church concerns its original painted glass. The four rose windows had once held painted glass from Innsbruck depicting the Evangelists; these were removed during the 1958 restoration but were not lost. Instead, they were reinstalled in 1992–1993 in a newly built parish hall beside the church, giving them a continuing life outside the building they were made for.

The church contains a wooden font from 1885 alongside a stone font from 1958, the latter carved by the artist Walter Bengtsson. A beech crucifix dating from 1971 was made by the sculptor Tore Heby, and niches around the church hold sculpted figures of the four Evangelists with their traditional symbols.

The organ has a long history of rebuilding: originally built in 1892 by Salomon Molander with sixteen stops, it was enlarged in 1936 and 1958, and substantially rebuilt again in 1983, reaching its current scale with three manuals and pedal.
