Gideå kyrka is a wooden church in the village of Gideå, around twenty kilometres northeast of Örnsköldsvik, within Härnösands stift. Built in the early nineteenth century on the initiative of local ironworks owners, it remains the parish church of Gideå-Trehörningsjö församling.

The church was built between 1806 and 1809 at the initiative of the brothers Jacob Christian and Isaac Ephraim Clason, owners of Gideå bruk. War and poor harvests delayed the work, so the building was not consecrated until 1818. The tower followed in 1815, replacing a temporary bell frame erected in 1810.

The church room is covered by a shallow wooden barrel vault. At the western side of the churchyard stands a timber lychgate with four columns, designed and built in 1907 by Felix Holmström.

The exterior has been repainted several times over the years, appearing at various points white, pink and brick-red. Following a major renovation in 1958–59 it was given its current yellow colour with white corners and pilaster strips. The interior has also been altered substantially on three occasions, most recently in that same 1958–59 restoration, which shaped much of its present appearance. In 1984 the south door was reopened and a ramp added.

The pulpit, mounted on the north wall, dates from the 1830s. The present altarpiece was painted in 1958–59 by Karl-Erik Häggblad, an artist born in Gideå; an earlier altarpiece from 1735, depicting the Crowning with Thorns and attributed to N Lindström, hangs on the south wall. Four chandeliers hang in the church, two of them eighteenth-century pieces in glass and rock crystal.

The hexagonal wooden font, carved with reliefs, was made in 1958–59 by the Gideå-born artist William Marklund, brother of the better-known sculptor Bror Marklund; its silver bowl dates from 1960. The church's current organ, its fourth, was built by Grönlunds Orgelbyggeri and installed in 1961, replacing an original instrument from 1847. Two bells hang in the tower, cast in 1810 and 1840.
