Öckerö kyrka, on the island of Öckerö in western Sweden, was completed in 1906 and built of granite in a simplified Gothic-inspired style. Its interior decoration, including the striking ceiling paintings, was created by the artist Kristian Lundstedt.

The church was built after the parish decided to construct a new place of worship in 1901, having been refused royal funding and forced to finance the substantial cost largely through a long-term loan and local collections. It was raised on a hill known as Sörgårds vale, chosen for its commanding position and views over the surrounding archipelago. The building work proved difficult, with the original building contractor unable to complete the project; a second builder from Gothenburg eventually finished it. A royal stipulation that the stone be hewn granite, quarried at Smögen, added considerably to the expense. The church was consecrated in September 1906.

Architecturally, the church has a west tower, a nave without transepts, and a lower, three-sided chancel. The granite facade is left rough-hewn, while the roof is covered in slate except over the chancel, which has copper cladding.

Inside, the wooden ceiling carries paintings added in 1944 depicting three biblical gardens associated with the story of Christ's death and resurrection: the Garden of Eden, Gethsemane, and the garden near Joseph's tomb where women are told of the resurrection. The three chancel windows depict the miraculous catch of fish, showing Jesus calling his disciples to become fishers of men, echoing the maritime life of the surrounding island community. These windows and the ceiling paintings were the work of Kristian Lundstedt, added during restoration work in the 1940s.

Among the church's furnishings are an altarpiece completed in 1908 by Alf Gullbring, and a pulpit and font designed by Axel Forssén. Two votive ships, a schooner and a fishing boat, were donated to the church in 1945 by local men from the nearby islands of Hyppeln and Knippla, a tradition reflecting the seafaring life of the parish. The church's organ, built in 1950, incorporates much of the pipework from the original 1906 instrument.

The church underwent a substantial repair and rebuilding programme completed in 1974, after being closed for almost a year, and a parish hall was added nearby in 1989.
