Tånnö kyrka is a parish church in the Voxtorp pastorate, near Värnamo in Jönköping County, serving Tånnö församling within the Diocese of Växjö. This guide draws on historical records to introduce its origins, architecture and furnishings.

The present church replaced a medieval timber church that once stood on the site, known from a drawing by Carl Georg Brunius. That older building had a nave with an eastern chancel, a porch to the south, and what appears to have been a sacristy to the north, with bells hung in a separate open bell frame east of the church. As with many ageing medieval churches in the diocese, it eventually became too small and dilapidated for the growing congregation, and the parish decided to build anew.

Plans were drawn up in 1845 by Ludwig Hawerman at the Office of the Superintendent of Buildings, developing an earlier proposal by master builder C. G. Liliegren from 1839. Construction began in 1847 under the direction of Andreas Bengtson of Voxtorp, and the old church was demolished once the new one was complete. The new neoclassical church was consecrated in 1852 by Bishop Christopher Isac Heurlin.

Built of stone and brick, the church has a rectangular nave with a semicircular chancel to the east and a sacristy attached on the north side. The west tower is topped with an open lantern crowned by a cross, a typical feature of the period. Inside, the hall-church interior is covered by a wooden barrel-vaulted ceiling.

The altarpiece, depicting the Adoration of the Shepherds, was painted by Louis Masreliez around 1764 and donated to the church in 1854. Other furnishings include an altar rail with turned balusters, a pulpit made by the joiner Lindquist with gilded symbols decorating its body and reached by stairs from the sacristy, and an enclosed pew arrangement typical of the period. The organ gallery has an outward-curving central section decorated with a lyre motif.

The church has had several organs over the years: an 1866 instrument by Carl Elfström of Ljungby, replaced in 1926 by a larger organ built by Gebrüder Rieger of Jägerndorf, and again in 1982 by a mechanical organ built by Ingvar Johansson at Västbo Orgelbyggeri in Långaryd.
