The oldest parts of Medle bönhus (prayer house) were built in 1887 for use as a school. When a new and larger school was built, the building became a prayer house in 1922. The house has since been extended in stages and maintained by the Bönhusföreningen (Prayer House Association), which consists of the landowners in Medle.

About us

As early as 1904 a youth association was formed, linked to EFS. Since the 1950s the activities have been run by Medle EFS with services, and children's and youth work in various forms.

Today services are held and gatherings are arranged for those who are retired or otherwise free during the day. An adult choir rehearses in the prayer house and holds music cafés. For children there are scouts and a children's choir with voluntary leaders. Staff of the Church of Sweden lead the minior group (children's group).

Calendar

Since 2024 Medle EFS has been connected to the Church of Sweden Skellefteå calendar; you can view our services by visiting the website (link) or downloading the Kyrkguiden app (link).
