Vargöns kyrka is a 20th-century parish church in Vargön, part of Västra Tunhems församling in the Diocese of Skara. Built in the late 1970s, it replaced an earlier works chapel and today serves the local community with regular worship and church activities.

The church was constructed in 1978–79 to designs by architect Karl Erik Ydeskog, replacing a chapel that the Wargöns company had converted from an assembly hall back in 1917 and which had served as the community's place of worship until the new building opened.

The building is modernist in style, with a hexagonal plan, rendered façades over a concrete and brick frame, and a distinctively steep roof. Curved laminated timber beams dominate the interior, supporting the roof above pale, unpainted wooden fittings. Large windows offer views of the surrounding landscape, and the free-standing oak altar sits beneath a wrought-iron cross set with red glass prisms representing blood, with a single blue prism marking the position of Christ's head.

The chancel contains two stained-glass windows by Folke Heybroek, depicting the River of Life and Christ on the Mountain, while a round window in the west end, showing a Christ monogram, was designed by Ydeskog himself.

Several furnishings were brought over from the earlier chapel, including the oak font and the altarpiece by Olle Hjortzberg. Created in 1917 using an etched metal plate technique, the altarpiece depicting Christ on the cross is said to have been the largest etched metal artwork in the world at the time of its making.

A freestanding bell tower, also designed by Ydeskog, was erected alongside the church; its bell is said to originate from the earlier works chapel. The church also houses a mechanical organ built in 1983 by Smedmans Orgelbyggeri.
