Träslövs kyrka stands just east of central Varberg in Halland, serving Träslövs församling within the Diocese of Gothenburg. This neoclassical stone church, completed in 1850, replaced a medieval predecessor and offers visitors a glimpse into centuries of local parish history.

The present church was built in 1850 on a hilltop roughly two kilometres southwest of the original medieval church site, using masons from Sandhult parish. It replaced a stone church dating from the late twelfth century, which was demolished in 1851 after the new building was completed. The old churchyard, near a later schoolhouse, retains the lowest courses of grey stone walls, revealing the layout of a Romanesque church with an apse and a later medieval tower. Two former commandants of Varberg fortress were buried at this old site.

The current building is rectangular with a semicircular chancel and a tower, with entrances to the west and on the long sides. Its whitewashed exterior features corner pilasters, a continuous cornice and classical detailing around windows and doorways, while the tower is topped with a shallow dome and a tall lantern. Inside, a wide barrel-vaulted ceiling in wood, articulated with ribs, covers the church hall. The interior has been repainted several times; a 1989 renovation restored an Empire-style colour scheme of white, gold, red and blue.

Among the furnishings, the neoclassical altarpiece and pulpit date from the second half of the nineteenth century, giving the interior a unified stylistic character. The large altar crucifix was acquired in 1888 from Oberammergau by the parish vicar. A notable seven-sided oak font, carved in the early seventeenth century and partly painted in red, black, green and white, originally stood in the old church, while its pewter baptismal dish was made in Nuremberg in the late sixteenth century.

A gilded silver communion chalice from 1581 bears an engraved image of Saint Lawrence, the church's patron saint, shown with the gridiron associated with his martyrdom. The church bells were recast in 1902 and 1904. The organ case dates from 1858, built by Johan Nikolaus Söderling; the mechanism has been rebuilt and altered several times since, most recently in 2007.
