Flarkens kapell is a small chapel in Flarken, in Robertsfors kommun, Bygdeå parish. Built by local villagers in the early twentieth century, it remains owned by a local voluntary association rather than the church authorities, giving it a distinctly community character.

The chapel dates from 1920, when it was built by the people of the village themselves. Interestingly, its style shows older features, and there is a possibility that the building was originally constructed elsewhere and moved to its present site that year, though this remains uncertain. The architect associated with the 1920 work was Oscar Pettersson.

The chapel has been altered more than once. It was rebuilt in 1941 under the architect Otto Isberg, and a west tower was added in 1987–88 following a thorough restoration led by the architect Ragnar Lundberg. These changes mean the building visitors see today reflects several phases of village effort rather than a single original design.

Architecturally, the chapel is a simple nave with a saddle roof and a west tower, its exterior clad in white-painted vertical timber panelling. The nave has pointed windows and a metal-clad roof. Inside, the ceiling is coved and divided by moulding, while the wall panelling is painted a pale pink, giving the interior a light, gentle character.

Above the entrance is a substantial organ gallery, added in 1958. The altarpiece is the work of the artist David Wretling, and remains one of the chapel's most notable furnishings for visitors interested in twentieth-century Swedish religious art.

As a chapel owned and maintained by a local non-profit association rather than the Church of Sweden itself, Flarkens kapell offers an example of grassroots rural church-building, reflecting the efforts and identity of the small community it continues to serve.
